Engagement Pic Nails

Crazy story here. We both work night shift so thru the week I'm either sleeping or working. No joke. I didn't have time to get mine done before our pictures and was too busy stalking the weather before our 2 hour drive to get pictures done. Finally, we decided to wing it and risk the storm. We passed a Wal-Mart on the way and FH ran in for hair gel (we tend to forget a lot of things) and when he got back he handed me a box of the impress nails. LOL. So going down the interstate I'm sticking these babies on, praying they would make it thru the shoot. They lasted a whole week, and I work in an iron foundry.

I smiled and laughed the entire time

I was looking for a good close up picture from our engagement shoot to post but I don't have any good ones on my phone LOL
But I did simple, solid color coral nude nails. they unintentionally matched the dress I picked to wear - a black and white maxi with coral flowers on it. I had mine taken almost a year ago, in June 2017.
Attached the best close up photo I have ATM... you can kind of see what I'm talking about. Lol

I'm not big into nails, or getting them done, so I just put light pink nail polish with forest coat and went with that. I'm a vet tech, so I can't really get my nails done anyway. The pictures turned out great though!

I'm a big fan of neutrals that allow your ring to be the center of attention! If you have a good nail tech they can tell you what will complement your skin tone!

These were my nails for my wedding! Officially married as of May 25, 2018!!!

I did very light pink with sparkle over top!

I had mine painted red to match my red sweater and lipstick.

I did a light pink that matched the bracelet I was wearing. I had on jeans and a navy lace shirt so it was more noticable.
