Engagement photos=rain

Look on Pinterest for ideas or even google engagement photos on a cloudy day ideas it might have ideas for you

The day of my e-shoot and on my wedding day it rained. All you need is an amazing photographer, and get your hair and makeup done (I did not get my hair done for my e-shoot). For the e-shoot, he edited in some blue sky and took away some of the clouds covering the buildings (eta: I just realized it's hard to tell in the pic I chose lol.) But anyway, at least you can see it was a cloudy day. For the pro pic from my wedding day, we're actually standing in the rain.

I love photos in the rain! We don't have them, but I second looking on Pinterest and if you have time, try to stop and find a clear umbrella before your photos (your photographer may have one, but you never know). If you want some cute, playful pictures, you could grab some rain boots and maybe jump in puddles together! I also love reflection photos, where the photo is of a reflection of the couple in a puddle. Hopefully that helps with some ideas. And whatever happens, try to have an open mind and have fun! You photographer should know how to take fantastic photos in any weather!

We had thunderstorms the day of our e-pics, but it cleared up by the time we had our photos - we even had some sunshine! We bought a cute umbrella from Target just in case it was raining but ended up not needing it. This is the only photo I've gotten back so far.

It rained our entire e-pic shoot, but the photos turned out beautiful!

It was supposed to rain on both our e-pics and wedding...it ended up being dry for both, but had some cloud cover...your pics will be great either way! Just embrace it. I know I was freaking about rain for ours...but honestly looking back I would have been totally cool with some rain, especially for e-pics. It makes things seem moody and romantic!

It was supposed to rain during mine but we decided to try to beat the rain. It ended up getting super cloudy & stormy, but it cleared up a little and the sun came out! Maybe you'll get lucky too!

Actually days of rain are the best

Just wanted to update the feed about today! As soon as I rolled up, the thunder started rolling and I started to get bummed. Butttt....it actually didn't rain at all! It cooled down a little which was great since it was hot and the lighting was perfect because of the clouds! My photographer is going to send over some pictures tomorrow , I can't wait to see!
