Save The Date is definitely does not have the best acronym lmao I didn’t really notice until I posted 🤦🏻‍♀️

Date twins!!! We did our engagement photos last week and are planning to send out Save the dates in december!

Our timeline:
August 2019 = engagement announcements sent out
October/November 2019 = engagement photos sent out
December 2019 = Save the Dates send out (using engagement photos)
March/April 2020 = invitations send out
June 2020 = wedding

The latest you’ll probably want to send yours out is April 2020, so you may want your photos taken in March. Hope this helps!

If your wedding is in October, you'll probably want to send save the dates between February and April. I'd have your engagement shoot about a month before you plan to send save the dates so you have time to get the photos back and order them.

I’d say now.

We are 10/04/2020! We did our engagement photos in April/May time frame. But that’s because my step mom wanted to throw us an engagement party! Lol but our save the dates are going out in the next few weeks! We figured the earlier the better! everyone kind of already knows our date but the photos turned out amazing!
Ps: we know the date is wrong on one the photographer already fixed! Lol I was like oh snap but she was like no I fixed that already! Lol 😅😅

I would recommend at least getting your photographer booked asap. We got told no by so many who were already booked for our date. But we found someone perfect, you will too!

Date twin!!! We took ours on 10/13/19 and just got the full gallery back last week. We're ordering and sending out soon because of accommodation issues in the town we're getting married. I'd probably get on it soon because it'll take 2-3 weeks after the photoshoot to even get them back and then you'll have a little time between designing, ordering, and them coming in.
