Engagement photos!

I just had to share a few of the engagement photos that my fiancé and I had taken at a nearby rose garden in our neighborhood. We were slightly nervous as the day we chose with our photographer had rain forecasted but luckily, the forecast cleared up a few days before and we had beautiful light and plenty of roses in bloom - even in November! A lot of people were surprised that we didn’t want to get our engagement photos taken in Santa Cruz (where our wedding will be), but I wanted to do a fall-themed shoot instead to contrast the summer season where our wedding will take place. I’m really, really happy with the outcome! Our photographer got some amazing shots of the both of us and a lot of happy, fun, candid shots, too! I can’t believe we are heading into the last month and a half of 2021! Are you 2022 brides getting excited!?
