Engagement Photos- Winter or Spring?

I was just thinking how the winter would be super cute and romantic!! I am getting married next fall so I actually just did my pictures this past weekend in a sunflower field, it really worked out perfectly. If you feel you'll be more comfortable in the spring time I would do that. The spring flowers would look great especially if that's when you're sending the STD

Winter! I don't see it often in engagement photos so I think something about it is pretty special.

I agree. Winter! It's definitely uncommon. But I'm a huge fan of heavy sweaters and giant scarfs. So I'm biased!

I would like the spring better, have you thought about fall? especially because your wedding is in the fall?

The only problem with winter is it can either look really pretty like a winter wonderland or really gross lol

FH and I did all four seasons. Here is one from our winter and one for our spring.

If you can't do all four I would go with ya'lls personal favorite!

And honeslty...we had more fun doing the winter (no one else was around due to the weather so we got to "be ourselves")

I vote winter also - hopefully we can get some pretty snow in Chicago this year.

We chose to do ours in November since we are getting married the following December. We wanted to use the pictures for STD's and felt it would be best if the pictures season matched our wedding date

FH and I are getting married in November 2018 too! We are doing our engagement pics next weekend.

I think winter could be pretty but it's been really iffy the past couple years in Chicago. Snow pics would be beautiful but mushy, black snow and grass peeking out would not be.
