Engagement Photos Today & Its RAINING!

The cloudy skys will make for pretty pictures. When I was in the same spot, before I postponed my pictures, some ladies mentioned making cute use of umbrellas. Good luck!

Im totally cool with cloudy skys, just keep the rain from falling! Ahhhh my stomach is in knots!!!

I was hoping it would rain on ours. Google some of the amazing pictures you can get. I love it.

@amy thats also part of my nerves, its not storming, that would be easy to make the call to reschedule. But its just one of those it says 50-60% chance of rain all day, it drizzled on me on my way home from the store...

@Amy it stormed sooo bad the first weekend we were supposed to do our's too. i wish we could have rescheduled for the following weekend but the earliest we could reschedule was a little over a month later.

it was yesterday though! we finally had them taken yesterday evening. it was a perfectly gooorgeous day all day, but as the sun was going down some clouds rolled in. we ended up still having some good light though. i can't wait to see our sneak peek this week.

weather sucks. i hate never being able to plan for sure around it. lol. ugh. frustrating.

Yea it took us almost 2 months to find a good date to get these done between all the schedules. They are even just doing us a favor by doing them on a Monday. They are usually off on Mondays.

Get a couple fun umbrellas and just roll with it.

It rained the day we took our pictures! Then it cleared up about half way through and I am obsessed with our pics. That "clear after the storm" look in the sky is just gorgeous. Plus, not a ton of people in a normally packed place!!

I was looking for umbrellas this morning, I didn't find any that were cute/fun and cheap... just the regular old nylon ones...

I am also trusting my photographer's judgement. I know they would not want to take poor quality pictures, or have their equipment out in dicey weather conditions. So if they are ok being out there, then I am going to go with it! Its a cool non-windy day, so hopefully my hair will hold up and I wont be sweating in my spanx... LOL

The same thing happened to me the day I was supposed to get my engagement pics done. It rained the whole day and night before. Some of the golf course we were taking our pics on ended up being flooded, but we were able to use the puddles for some really neat pics and the reflection off the water and grass ended up being real cool. Let your photographer work his/her magic and trust me they will turn out wonderful.

Cloudy days are supposed to be some of the best for shooting. Something to do with the lighting.
