Engagement photos on social media or no?

What if you just left off the ones you plan to use for STD and post the rest.

Our photographer tagged us in 3 teaser pics from our shoot last weekend on Instagram and Facebook. The remaining pics will be sent via a password protected gallery and I won't share those until we do save the dates!

Personally we didn't do save the dates. We posted our engagement pictures on Facebook as soon as we got them and then plan to use the most liked as our invitation.

Our save the dates didn’t have photos, so this wasn’t a concern. If we did use photos, we would have just avoided posting those specific ones on social media.

I posted 3 weeks later after my friends/family confirmed they received ours Save the date. However i only posted the ones are on my Save the Date.🙊
I kept some of them to post closer to our wedding or as TBT Lol

We didn't do save the dates but if you want to post them on FB and IG, I say go for it. It's fun to share those kinds of things with everyone. We're doing our engagement pics this weekend and I can't wait to get them back and post them

Okay, first make a group chat for FB for those that are on your invite list and only
post in there re: Wedding related info.

You can also restrict who can see what you post by excluding those that don’t need to see.

I posted our engagement photos before I decided which ones we were going to use for our save the dates. I don't think it's a big deal, especially for those who don't have us on Facebook anyways.

I posted mine, I was just too obsessed with them to wait and share them with family and friends (and the world!)

I plan on sharing a few of the teasers as soon as we get them back!

(My photographer always posts 3 to her own social media anyway, so I'll just be reposting those.)

I love seeing engagement photos in my feed, even for weddings that I know I won't necessarily be invited to.

I posted mine right away. However, we didn't use pictures on our save the dates because we took our engagement pictures after we sent out the saves the dates.

I didn't aha. I'm kind of private though so most people didn't even know I was engaged
