Engagement Photos and family members?

H's parents wanted to, which I thought was super weird. (We live OOS from most family and had flown back for a weekend to do some wedding stuff, so maybe they thought they'd get more time with us if they were there?) They were there for like 2 minutes and then they left.

I feel like it would be really awkward to follow people around for these.

It was just my FH and I at ours. We didn’t really see a reason for anyone else to come. We also moved around quite a bit with our photographers, so any family members would’ve just been sitting around for 1.5 hours waiting.

My sister almost came with us, but that’s only when we considered taking some photos with our dog and needed someone to watch her for us. We ultimately decided against it because our dog isn’t very people-friendly, so my sister didn’t come.

I actually just got mine done today. I did it at my parents house because it was raining. But they didn't get in the pictures or anything. Well... Except the dog haha!

My FH’s mother came along on ours. Just because we brought our dog to be in some of the pictures and she watched him while we took the pictures he wasn’t in.

BIL came with us for a little bit, but he was there to help us manage our dogs when they werent in pictures. Then he took the dogs home for us and we went somewhere else for more pics. (We did get some good pics of DH with him that we gave to MIL as a birthday gift.)

My mom and FMIL are going to come with us. My mom is a hairdresser and she is gonna make sure my hair cooperates and my FMIL is coming to help with the dogs

One of my bridesmaids came with her boyfriend to watch our pup. The ones that our pup wasn't in, she would take her for a walk.

Just my H and me, I never considered having family around for it.
