Engagement photography tip?

We’ll be using the same photographers for our wedding as we did for our engagement photos, so they’ll be receiving their tip after the wedding. If you’re using a different photographer, then I’d probably tip (though I’d most likely send a nice thank you card and include the tip in there instead of day-of).

Is it the same photographer that you’re using for your wedding? If so, I would wait and tip them the full amount after receiving wedding photos.

We just had our engagement photo session last night. It was included in our wedding package with our photographer, so we are waiting to fully tip her until the wedding. Have fun!

No. When we booked our photographer, we found out that the package we booked for included an engagement photo session at no extra cost. So, we're saving our tip for the wedding day. If we had gone with a different photographer for the engagement photos, I probably would have tipped. But since she is the same photographer doing our wedding, I figured I would combine, and tip her for both on the day of the wedding.
