Engagement Photobook! (pics- although, kinda blurry)

So, my fiance and I took engagement pictures, but I had no interest in having my face in my StD's, so I designed them with vintage art. But then I was all, "What am I going to do with these pictures??". And I saw that they had a free photobook on Shutterfly, and thought, why not? It's a way to display them. I talked to my fiance about possibly using it as a guest book, but we decided against it. So, I just did a book to show off the pics, which seems weird to me, but hey, everyone look- a book of me! Haha. I would also like to state that it would normally look better and less cheesy, but their software is a PITA. If I did it again, I would just design all the pages in Indesign and use the blank book.

Or set it next to the guest book table so people can view it while waiting to sign the book! It's nice.

I love this. I really hope to do one, but not sure how it will be possible without spending a shit load of money since I don't own the rights.

We didn't put Epics on our STDs either and all our friends thought it was weird lol. I did postcards and didn't want our faces out there for the world to see! I ended up doing a photo guest book, but used pictures of us from the 7 years of us dating vs our epics. The epics will just get framed and put up
In the house lol.

Hey, I like illustrations better. I don't want to write all over my face- haha! See- didn't it turn out cool? I just love it. And it looks even better in person on the magnets.

That's a good idea, Erica :-)

Gamecox- Ooooo. That was the main thing I was looking for- a photographer that would give me all the rights to the pics. I told our photographer that I am a graphic designer and I would be making all my books and prints. What good are pictures ot me if I can't use them?

I made a book too - just as a keep sake of the whole engagement really but I didn't want my face on the STD either, but DH was front and center, you only saw the side of my face lol

Your book is very nice! We also did a book from Shutterfly with our engagement photos. We gave one to both our Moms and my Dad as gifts as well. One of my BMs had the book on display at my shower. We also had it on display at our rehearsal dinner. People seemed to enjoy it.
