Engagement photo shoot

I would assume that you meet onsite unless they've told you otherwise, that's what we did with our photographer. Is it a far away location?

It really depends on what works for you both. We decided to drive together and it worked great for us because it gave us a chance to get to know each other and break the ice before the session. We had so much fun with her during the session that we ended up taking her to lunch afterwards.

We had two locations for our engagement shoot and met the photographers (a husband and wife team) at the first place, which was walking distance from our house. Then they drove us to the second place and we paid for garage parking. Our photographers also offered to drive us home afterwards since it was on their way. It was super nice of them to drive us around and this gave us the opportunity to get to know them better.
