Engagement photo question?

No! Not at all! I’m hoping the same doesn’t happen with us. I’ve used our photographer for holiday pictures of our son, but never for anything bigger than that. We have a photographer that we use for all our family photos & wanted her to do our wedding and engagement, but she’s pregnant and due just a couple weeks before our wedding. We did do family pics last Summer & got a couple good ones of us as a couple. I can just use those if I don’t end up loving our engagement session. As long as you’re alright with paying for another session, I see nothing wrong with getting more pictures taken. I don’t think there’s ever a limit on pictures, honestly. Lol. Can you post the one you’re not loving?

Absolutely, you should redo them if you’re not happy! Not odd at all! Plus! You’ll get a flavor for a better photographer who can do your wedding.

By no means is it weird! We've had 3 engagement shoots. One was when we first got engaged (we wanted some nice photos for our engagement party & for save the dates), then we had some done by a friend that was looking to expand her portfolio and most recently, our wedding photographer gave us a free engagement session with the package we chose. That's usually pretty standard with your wedding photographer
