Engagement photo outfit?

I just got our outfits in! Our shoot is on the 2nd of September. Here is my dress, a pic from our location and his suit! I really wanted to look like a model with a big flowy dress and I got great deals. He will have a tie matching my dress, I'll have silver pumps and he has brown cogniac shoes and a watch. I plan to have my hair down long with a light curl Don't know makeup yet..

We did two outfits. The first was the more casual look. Him in jeans, boots, and a flannel. Me in jeans, boots, a cami, and a lace overlay. The second was a little more formal. Him in a button up and slacks. Me in a long chiffon skirt (from Amazon) and a flowy bodysuit from Express. I would try to match the outfits with your location(s) and personalities. For us, the boots and jeans are a nod to how we met (country bar when he asked me to dance) and the formal outfits went well with the olive trees and lavender fields.

Our shoot is next month and our wedding is later in the fall, so we’re basically going for a fall theme and are keeping it rather causal for the engagement shoot. He’ll probably be wearing a flannel and jeans and I’ll be in jeans cute booties and a blouse, well also be taking some pics with our dog 😂

I went with a casual black dress and jeans and button down for FH. I didn’t want a formal look, we’re casual people.

I wore two flowy dresses (one white and one blue) because we did ours at the beach! We just did our engagement shoot a little over two weeks ago and I am already dying to see them!! 😭😊

We just wore black and jeans! You can’t really see, but our cardigan also has a black tie on lol

I wear dresses all the time, so it would be really strange if I didn’t for our engagement photos. I chose a dress I would actually wear again, and he wore a button down and khakis. Not too fancy, but totally us. I think you should choose something that highlights your personalities rather than something formal. You’ll have your wedding photos to be all glammed up and formal in, so may as well have some fun with the engagement pics!

We wanted a casual vintage feel, so I got an authentic 1950s dress off of Etsy.

We are pretty casual, laid back people, so we wanted our outfits to reflect that. We went with a late spring look, and then we had to represent our Raider Nation!! I love how they turned out! Totally us.

We had our pictures taken on the beach so I went with a romper with an overskirt that'd blow in the wind! We were going to do a waterfall shoot then changed locations due to a time conflict. I was going to do a red jumpsuit, wedges, and a black lace kimono & FH was going to do the same button down he wore with jeans and boots.
