I have been struggling with this too! Wedding dress shopping was a breeze compared to figuring out engagement photo outfits 😂 I finally decided that I will be wearing a solid colored long dress and will change into a more casual outfit (jeans and a plain shirt)

I went with jeans and a nice shirt to be a nicer casual type vibe 😀

I wore this long, flowy dress and it was perfect! I wear it all the time now!

We did ours in December, so I wore a light cardigan, a scarf, jeans, and boots! I'm not much of a dress girl though.

We did 2(and a half outfits) for our engagement sessions. The first was jeans and Tshirts that said "Hubby" and "Wifey" on them. Then we put plaid shirts on over them. (The half outfit 😉) then I changed into a pink ombre dress and he changed into a polo shirt. FH isn't the fancy dress type person, so this was about as nice as we were going to got.

We did jeans and flannels to fit in with the Fall when we did the pics. It also fits with our overall rustic fall wedding theme.

We did a sunrise beach shoot and I wore a long floral dress.

We did three outfit changes: jeans and a long sleeve shirt, a casual dress and boots, and colored pants and a sweater. Our photos were taken in the fall in Wisconsin.

Jewel tones always photograph well and look flattering. Keeping the neckline area open elongates your frame.

I wore a white dress with blue heels and FH wore a white dress shirt with royal blue pants and gray sneakers.

We wore one casual and one 'dressy' outfit... just wear something that you're comfortable in! I spent so much time agonizing over what looks good in other people's photos to finally accept that it wouldn't matter if I matched someone else, I wouldn't feel like 'me'.

I am in the same boat! I think something flowy with neutral colors will be best! Flowy dressy photograph really well and add movement to the pictures. Neutral colors because you want YOU to stand out above everything in the pictures!
