Engagement Photo Location?? Long Island area

I found Pinterest to be super helpful with this! I'm from Denver, so I just searched for Denver on Pinterest. So many beautiful pictures came up, I found our engagement picture location this way! It helped that our photographer had some ideas too.

If you need port jeff area, go during the week at night to Frank Melville Memorial Park. I think you need to pay for a permit but it's beautiful there!

for Nassau, you can't go wrong with Planting Fields Arboretum

Avalon Park has a lot of great spots for pictures! The town in Port Jeff or the Northport Harbor could be cute too! The main spots in Nassau are Planting Fields and Westbury Gardens but both have fees and require a permit! I took mine at the Fire Island Lighthouse which I definitely reccommend (but that is technically like the very end of Suffolk).

Near Port Jeff: Avalon Park in Stony Brook, Frank Melville Park in Setauket (thought I believe you need a photo permit), Sunken Meadow State Park, the actual village of Port Jeff especially near the docks and marina, Bayard Cutting Aboretum.

Near Nassau County: Planting Fields Aboretum, Caumsett State Park (sooooo beautiful, but more on the border of Suffolk County), Old Westbury Gardens, The Vanderbilt Museum (Western Suffolk County).
