Engagement photo help!

We just used things we already had around the house. No sense in spending money if you already have some things that showcase you guys and your personalities.
Since we’re getting married at a winery, we brought stemless wine glasses, a bottle of wine from where we got engaged, and a blanket to sit on.
And since the reason I messaged him on hinge was a picture of him in a Penguins jersey surrounded by storm troopers, we did a few with penguins jerseys and a storm trooper pillow.

We did not use any props, though one of our outfits were our hockey jerseys. We initially were planning on getting a cute sign with our date on it for us to hold in the pictures, so we could use the pictures in our Save The Dates, but we ended up taking our engagement pictures a while after we sent out our Save The Dates, so we didn't need to spend the money on the sign.


I agree with the previous comment, I would recommend not spending the money on props that aren't super meaningful to you and your fiance. This way, the focus in the photos is no you and your fiance, instead of the props, and you save the money. I think your ideas of the American flag, dog tags, and wood frame are really good ideas for props that are meaningful towards you both!

We used these two as props! Got the American flag from Walmart and the letter B (Butcher) from Amazon

We used these for some of our photos, the date sign we will display somewhere at our wedding and I sold the football after.

Oh I can totally relate since our save the dates will be in a couple months as well. Such a cute incorporation of the hockey jerseys. Thank you so much appreciate your help 🥰

Only props we wanted were a banner that says engaged and definitely 2-3 wooden signs with bible scriptures that we have been sharing with each other since our engagement 💕
