Engagement Photo Attire

Mine was more casual so for some I had a shirt and jeans and the others a dress. But it was really important to me to have my cow girl boots in the pictures so I made sure the outfit would look cute with them😁

I also had two looks. One was more casual with jeans, a cami, and a lace cover up. The other was more formal: a long chiffon skirt, flowy bodysuit, and heels. Whatever you wear, make sure you feel comfortable in it...that will really translate to beautiful images!

Thanks so much! Where do you plan on taking your pictures at? More out doors or in the city?

We did a comfort style with clothes a would normally wear. A floral dress, denim vest which actually I have to get rid of because it was pretty snug in this photoshoot. I hope you can't tell with a pair of my cowgirl boots. For the guys have a shirt that slightly matches what your wearing but not to matchy and make sure they don't feel uncomfortable in the clothes

View Quoted Comment Thank you! It was soooo hot and horribly humid that day (98* in Iowa/June) and he had planned to wear a light colored shirt so I just worked around that. Haha

Here’s what my fiancé and I wore! We took a few at our house with our dogs and the rest at a forest preserve!

Mine are this weekend and I just had a last minute change of ideas. We have 3 outfit changes. I have a grey, long sleeve, about mid thigh grey dress that I'll wear with burgundy over the knee boots while FH will wear blue jeans and a burgundy sweater. Then the next we'll both wear blue jeans and he'll wear a light tan long sleeve while I have a white long sleeve with buttons up the front and a mustard cardigan over that with some tan ankle boots. And then the last one since we're from Northern MN I'll have a white long sleeve with the buffalo plaid vest while he has a black/charcoal long sleeve. With blue jeans of course.

I found my scattered mess for outfits. I had to put pictures together so I wouldn't forget and it'll act as a little checklist for me as well haha

I found this dress on sale at Kohls. I wanted something a little fancy, but not too dressed up. We tried to color coordinate our outfits, but not too matchy-matchy! I wore brown open-toed heels. I wanted to fell confident and comfortable.
