We just got engaged in August 2018 and have our wedding set for October 2020. We also just moved in together about a few weeks ago. Would it be weird to have an engagement party and house warming party all together as one party?

Engagement party is not a gift giving event but a housewarming is...I’m not sure I would combine them. I think I would call it one or the other.

Hi Talia! Congrats on your engagement and new home! Calling it your engagement party but expressing that it's in your new home is definitely doable and very exciting! I am sure your guests will be so excited for you both & very happy to attend.
