Engagement party videographer and photographer

Hi Guys! I'm having an engagement dinner/party on September 9th at a restaurant and need a photographer and videographer just to capture the moment bc I didn't have one for the party before and totally regretted it. Anyone know of someone who does it on the cheaper end? My budget is 1,00-1,200. Nothing too extravagant just memorable photos and video.

Honestly, you're going to be right in wedding season and most photographers are going to either booked or lookingh for their regular fee.

Where are you located?
Is 1200 the budget for the photographer or the whole party?
I threw my FH a 40th bday party and hired a photographer that was advertising on Groupon. It was 400.00, he came for the first half of the party (so 1.5 hours) and took amazing pictures and was very professional.
So maybe try Groupon or another site like that?

How are we supposed to help with no idea where you live?

What party did you have before that needed not only a photographer, but a videographer? This seems a little overkill.
