Engagement Party in Chicago/Chicago Suburbs

My fiance and I are throwing our own engagement party. And since we are also paying for the wedding ourselves, we're trying to keep costs for the EP at a minimum. We would have it at our place, but it's too small for all the people we want to invite. Any ideas on places that we could host it in the Chicago Suburbs for cheap?

What type of place are you looking for, how many people? We were thinking of having our Rehearsal dinner at Gino's east (we're in the suburbs) or another pizza place not far from us and it was reasonably priced.. and they have a seperate room where you can have some privacy.

Type of place doesn't really matter nothing too formal though. My fiance and I are both pretty laid back people. And we're looking at around 40 - 50 people.

I agree with Dana Pizza place is great or if you want to have it at a local bar that u can rent a room that might do.

Or you can even do Dave & Busters too which I don't think is too pricey.. And I know there's on in the city and suburbs ( i was just there Friday and had a great time).
