Hi everyone!
I’m expected to have my engagement party towards the end of September 2021. Can you recommend me decor ideas, things to do, or other little stuff that would make it sweet? Also if you have any advice for programming, budgeting, decors, etc I’d really love to read them! Wishing everyone lots of love&health. Thank you!

Keep it simple. Food and mingling. Get drop off catering from your favorite Mexican/Chinese/etc restaurant..beverages from Costco. Set up at a local park venue rental. Decor from Party City.

Engagement parties are pretty laid back and usually within a few months of the couple getting engaged. Every engagement party I've ever been to has basically just been a causal party in someone's home with either someone grilling or drop off catering.

I agree with keeping it simple. Treat it like most other house parties. Get food from either a catering company or grill. Nothing too expensive since you want the more expensive stuff for your wedding. I know some people do picnics, although that would all be based on different COVID restrictions and the comfort of everyone going. You can also create a playlist and play music at the party for background noise.
