Engagement keepsakes ☺️

The same props we used in our engagement photo shoot we used on our wedding day and they are hanging up in our apartment.

My fiance and I are creating a scrapbook of our entire engagement! Starting with the night we got engaged and going all the way up to our wedding day, and including things like napkins from the hotel we stayed at the night we got engaged, bridesmaids dress swatches, copies of our Save The Dates and invitations, groomsmen attire swatches, and of course photos... LOTS of photos. Anything that doesn't fit in the scrapbook itself, we will take a picture of and include it in the scrapbook that way. And also any wedding-related event is also being included through pictures in the scrapbook (dress shopping, food tasting at our venue, venue tours, etc).

I absolutely dislike having excess objects in my home. I'm a minimalist.

I made an engagement photo album for us. It feels like a premium photo album because each page is thick, bordered, and fits a single 5x7 photo. It is beautiful I love it! It will be in our home and seen by friends/family for a lifetime

My husband printed some of our engagement photos in a book

We have some engagement photos up and of course I have my rings. I also had a coffee cup until H put it in the dishwasher lol.

There’s really cute and thoughtful decor my friends put into our engagement party so far and I’m sure it will be things I want to keep from the bachelorette and other future events as well. To each it own! I’m sentimental and I like to keep things for memories 🤷🏽‍♀️ I know how to not be cluttery about it. Just was interested in actual ideas one might have. Thanks!

View Quoted Comment We haven’t gotten engagement pics done yet. I held off during the summer when the pandemic was at the place it was at. And I wanted pretty fall or spring pics. So we’re going to shoot for late spring engagement pics. We’re using an independent photographer so I doubt she’ll have a book or anything like that. I’ll have to get creative 😍

We had a memory box made that we are keeping all of our wedding related keepsakes. Not only does it hold several important items from our engagement and wedding, it’s also beautiful and a nice piece to set out in our home.
