Emergency kit

Rachel, on August 17, 2020 at 1:57 AM Posted in Planning 1 20
Hey guys so it’s 11 days till our wedding. I am doing a emergency kit for my fiancé and myself. But I don’t want to buy unnecessary things (more so for me.) What are things that the girls and I will use and what are not ?

Absolutely have toothpicks or floss in there. I didn’t realize that and I actually needed it. Because after I ate there were things stuck in my teeth and obviously I still have to go mingling with people after

Tide Stick and safety pins! A change of shoes for the reception. I’m also putting our invitation suite, lists for vendors, rings, and marriage license in my bag

I have a separate bag for the important papers. I did get stain remover! I was thinking about a sewing kit?

I have a tendency to forget things, so if everything isn’t in one central place I know I’ll forget it... and no one I know knows how to sue.... so I’m putting clear duct tape instead! Lol.. I figured if all else fails tape it 🙈

    DOUBLE SIDED TAPE/FABRIC TAPE.

The ONE thing we all forgot at my wedding, and of course a piece of lace on my neckline kept falling down.

Hopefully it won't be needed, but bandaids/first aid kit, just in case! Maybe also extra cash, phone charger, and headache medication.

Emergency sewing kit. Can't tell you how many times these have saved the straps on bridesmaids dresses before!

People use it for when they get a run in their tights or any fraying fabric and reattaching gems to nails.

Daughter had a fully stocked emergency kit -- the only things she used were deodorant and safety pins. She was doing some wild dancing and her bustled train got stepped on and 2 of the 3 loops broke on the overbustle portion of her dress -- we used a few larger safety pins (probably 1-1.5") to hold the broken sections up where they needed to be. It was like we were a NASCAR pit crew the way we got her back on the dance floor in less than a minute! Smiley winking LOL

My girls swore by blister spray.
Looks like a steamer and distilled water was missing from the list above.
