Emergency Advice! How do my alterations look? Not sure how to feel

Your dress is gorgeous! It's hard to tell from the picture. Nothing would stand out to me as "off" if I didn't know the backstory, but knowing that you have two cups on top of each other, the chest could be a little smoother against your body. It really is beautiful on you and if it's fitting you comfortably that's the most important! Definitely doesn't look fake! Although it is a little strange that she wouldn't remove the original cup if it doesn't fit you.

If it were my dress, just for comfort I would remove one set of the cups - either keeping or cutting out the original.
