Can I just say having a little light in the box was like the best thing.

It's his grandmothers ring, she wanted me to have it. When I showed my ex best friend my ring and told her it was his grandmothers she commented with "I knew it, I told my mom the ring looked used". I just shrugged it as she was jealous because I was engaged after being with my fiance for 2 years and she isn't and keeps begging her long time boyfriend of 10 years for a ring. Whoever made the comment to you could be jealous as well.

Gorgeous rings! I find that people who make nasty comments like that are just jealous! All that matters is that you love your ring!

Everyone has personal styles. Like for me I just wanted no side stones as I knew they would annoy me. So just a plain simple band. The more I looked at rings, the more my style changed. It has my birthstone and I love it. My FH says that we can upgrade later on so he can get a real diamond for me.

Its beautiful! Ur ring is unique and no one else will have that ring! I love the thought of no one else having the same ring. I consider mine unique as well. I've never saw a ring like mine yet

Rings should reflect the wearer! I like dainty jewelry, so your ring would be "too busy" for me but I'm not the one wearing it, and likewise my ring (which I love) would likely be "too simple" or "too plain" to you. I'm so glad you didn't let those comments bother you!

What I don't get is why anyone feels like they should make less than kind comments about someones ring. Like, what does that accomplish? It's not necessary at all.

How could anyone think jewels aren’t beautiful no matter what the design!? 💎💍 My godmother has a yellow diamond and I always admired it! My favorite color growing up was yellow 💛 A lot of people were surprised I wanted a yellow diamond. One person asked, “oh...did he pick it out?” My husband did pick the final ring, but we went looking a lot together so he had a clear idea of what I wanted. I love my ring - feels like a piece of sunshine on my finger every day ☀️
