Eloping in Belize!! Advice??

We’ve decided to elope in Belize this June. (Seriously can’t wait, it’s going to be perfect). I’ve never been and wanted to see if anyone had special recommendations or advice of things to do, places to see while we’re there

Specifically we’re staying in a house on the beach in San Pedro.
Any destination elopement brides out there? General elopement advice? ❤️

Can't give you elopement-specific advice, but our last trip before covid was to Belize! The snorkeling is soooo beautiful, definitely make plans to do that. You can also do day trips to the interior of the country. If you are interested in that, check out ATM cave. It was used by the Mayans for sacrifices and rituals. You swim/walk/clamber through the cave with a guide pointing out the artifacts, it's really interesting.

We are strongly considering signing papers at the courthouse here for legalities and then jumping on a plane ASAP to start the honeymoon. SO is from the area so itʻs special to him and Iʻm always down for an adventure

I’m interested to hear how your planning went! My fiancé and I decided to elope in Belize in January of 2022. We’re currently debating whether to hire a wedding planner to assist us in the process as I’ve had no luck finding specifics on hiring a JOP for the ceremony. Any advice?
