Eloping and looking for a photographer

My fiance and I are eloping to New Orleans in May of 2020. I've reached out to a few photographers and asked for quotes for an elopment which would include ceramony coverage (1 hour or less) and hour at most for coverage for posed photos. The ceremony would take place on a week day. The wedding party includes myself and my fiance no attendants and no family. Photographer have offered me their lowest packages that cover 2hours prior of ceremony and 2hours after with free engagement sessions costing just under $1000. Anyone have any suggestions for a photographer that will work with out of staters for 2 hour coverage and a more reasonable price?

I used Becky Cooper Photography for our New Orleans wedding last year. We planned our wedding from California, and she was great to work with. I think her rates have gone up a little since I booked her, but she has a two hour package and is reasonably priced. She does charge a higher travel fee if you're getting married in the French Quarter, though.
Also, have you googled or looked at Instagram for New Orleans wedding photographers? You might find a lot more options.

Try Carmin Frisard. She's the niece of a friend who is getting started in the business, but the work she has thus far is great.

I would look at Alyssa Fisher. We were going to use her for our engagement photos before our plans changed and she was willing to work with our budget and was very flexible and responsive.
