Elopement

Alexis, on May 4, 2022 at 10:49 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 4

My fiancé & I decided we're going to elope. However, I'd still like to send gifts to my close friends & family who I would've selected to be in our wedding had we were planning a traditional one. Has anyone done this before? I know it's uncommon, but I want them to know how much I wish they could be there.

What about a photo album? Do a nice message at the front and photos from the elopement? You can also still include them in dress shopping. You could host a dinner after

Personally if someone sent me a gift for their elopement but I hadn’t gotten them anything I would feel horrible. 😅 But if you’re hosting a dinner afterwards or at some point, then I think it would be ok to give them a small gift since they would likely bring one as well?

You’re right, I didn’t think of that. Thanks for the advice!
