Elopement dress

Marion, on May 8, 2021 at 11:32 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 15
Alright ladies. DP and I are eloping in one month (eeeeeek!!!).

What do we think of the dress? Think it needs hemming but otherwise fits ok?
How should I wear my hair?
Any other suggestions/advice?

Not my style but very pretty none the less. Yes, a hem might be necessary and you can decide if you want to keep the train or not when you do that. As for hair, maybe consider half up, half down? Think about how you would normally style it when you dress up to go out and that is a good place to work off of. You should be comfortable and have a style that makes you feels like the best version of yourself.

I think it's a perfect dress for elopement and you look gorgeous in it! Once it's hemmed, it'll be just right. I think a half up, half down hairstyle would be good and match the "feel" of the dress and veil. Maybe just soft curls at the bottom part of your hair?? It'll be soft and romantic like the dress.

Gives me a nice bohemian vibe. Maybe a flower crown with your hair down? Embrace your inner flower child.

That's a very pretty dress. I think a braid with flowers or jewels in it would be pretty.

Half up half down is what I was thinking originally but that’s my everyday hair. Maybe I could get it done in a more sophisticated way for sure!

It's not my cup of tea. As long as you feel beautiful in it, that's all that matters.

It looks lovely on you. As for hem most definitely need to hem. Hair wise.... I would suggest up with maybe some loose curly hanging down. Smiley smile

I’m still on the fence about it myself! I LOVED it when I saw it on Etsy (especially the colour and how romantic it looks) but I’m not sure it’s bridal enough....

If that's how you feel then you would think the dress I wore was DEFINITELY not bridal enough.

This is so lovely and ethereal looking.

I would do like a low, messy bun with some flowers. Or even half up/half down with waves
