Edible flowers

Is anyone using edible flowers? If yes, where did you get them? Do you have pictures?

Do you mean... sugar flowers for the cake, or actual flowers, that happen to be edible?

Plenty are - nasturtium flowers, pansies, marigolds, zucchini flowers, chamomile, chive flowers... you could ask your florist to source them and then ask your caterer to prepare them for eating, or ask the caterer direct to source them - not all flowers would be grown to be food-grade, I'd imagine.

Ooooo I am intrigued. Why do you want edible flowers? Do you plan on eating them? Are you thinking flower garnishes for the meals, or are you wanting guests to be able to eat your centerpieces? I’ve never seen this question before, and now I’m thinking of all the possibilities

Ahhh ok. Although I’m a little disappointed your guests won’t be chowing down on your centerpieces now (that was an awesome mental picture 😆), the flower ice cubes are beautiful!

    Cute idea!

We're not going with it but our venue offers a sorbet with an edible frozen orchid. It was pretty tasty. I'm not sure where they got it from but we liked it a lot. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Thank you 🥰 I am definitely searching for the options. Unfortunately we are not having sorbet or ice creams, I am having a outdoor wedding.
