Eco friendly drink markers?

Has anyone come up with someone clever to mark glasses ?? I love the cute little silicone guys you can put on reusable straws or on your cup rim but don’t want to buy silicone. I was looking for like biodegradable stickers but they’re all brown/Kraft paper and look the same so it wouldn’t serve it’s purpose easily of having someone pick a unique/colorful “pop” that easily distinguishes their glass from the next. THANK YOU FOR ANY/ALL IDEAS!

    How about biodegradable felt (wine glasses only)? If you can order from a company that has a partnership with local artisans or a microfinance organization, you can do double good.

    This is super cliche, but maybe try the little umbrellas? Maybe see if you can get them in your colors (maybe even stripes!) Could be really fun, especially with a summer wedding or tropical theme

    Look on etsy, here's a few fun ideas (can be mixed and matched as you see fit)
    - flower ones from the tiny umbrella shop
    - bri guy products has so many color options!

    There are rings you can get for glasses to differentiate them. The clip on to the stem and often have a charm. You could probably find someone on Etsy to make them with guests' names.
