Early September Wedding-should i Be Worried By Covid19?

Kendall, on March 29, 2020 at 9:35 PM Posted in Planning 0 5

Hello! I think my header says it all; my military fiancé and I are getting married on 9/5/2020, with venue and almost all vendors paid for. The date is very set, with leave and everything in place. Should I be worried about cancelling the wedding?

My best friend has a September wedding and she’s not worried. I think if you are worried it would be ok for you to get some assurance by looking into your contract or asking vendors and venue what would happen if there needed to be a postponement or cancellation but in the meantime I think your date is fine

My date is a week after yours. While this situation is adding more stress, I am not planning on moving my date. The only thing I did was put a note on our wedding website stating I know that this situation may be putting folks into a financial burden and both myself and FH understand if some aren't able to make due to this.

I'm also getting married on September 5th. I'm not going to worry unless this is all still going on in July.
