Dye a Bridesmaid Dress?

Unless you're a professional who has done this before, I absolutely do NOT recommend it.

This sounds like an expensive accident waiting to happen. Where have you looked? What is your color inspo?

I wouldn't do them myself. Definitely have them professionally done.

Honestly, I would rather just tweak my colors that dye a dress and end up not likely it in the end.

Here's the color. The dress on the left is hydrangea by Jenny Yoo, but in person it's so purple. Not blue at all. I have lurked everywhere from Dillard's to Davids Bridal to Weddingtonway...most are too blue.

That is a difficult color. Is this too bright? (Just trying to help, I'd hate for you to attempt something so risky)

It is more blue...that was one of our closer options. I was hoping for tulle dresses and they didn't have one in store in steel blue or a swatch of tulle to purchase online.

What about one of the Dream in color shades from Alfred Angelo?

I'll have to look at them in person. Once upon a time may work...looks really blue online, but may be darker in person.

I think Jenny Yoo (I think that's the designer's name) has a color like that in that same material. Check Nordstrom.

ETA: I skipped one of your comments. Check Nordstrom for JY. The ones I saw were a blueish gray.
