Good morning WW! My fiancé and I are visiting Dubai and would like to squeeze in an engagement shoot if possible. Has anyone done one in dubai? We are looking for a quality/reliable photographer who won’t break the bank! We are finding photographers who charge about $500-600 USD an hour! Is this reasonable?

Have you looked on Airbnb? We’ve hired photographers in Italy and NYC through Airbnb to do couples shoots. Two were private shoots on our honeymoon and for the other shoot we were one of two couples booked on the shoot. Airbnb rates are very affordable (though I imagine you get less photos, less time and there are no outfit changes), compared to hiring wedding photographer for an engagement shoot. Just check the photographer’s website or instagram to see that your taste aligns with their photography and editing style.

Have you already booked your hotel? I think it would be a good idea to contact the concierge desk there to ask for recommendations of reliable photographers. They may have some photographers that they have previously worked with if there have been wedding held in the hotel you are staying.
How long will you be in Dubai for? It looks like such a beautiful city!
