Dry wedding?

the venue me and my fience have been looking at is amazing it's the place where we met so it holds high sentimental value. the only thing is they don't allow any kind of alcohol. would It really be that bad to have a dry wedding?

If you like the venue you should go for it unless alcohol is more important. People will tell you have it in the afternoon or folks will leave early but if they love you or even like you who would leave early because you didn't give them alcohol and if they do well once less person to waste your time on. Our wedding will be dry (the venue allows it but we aren't drinkers and plus you save a ton of money) some folks might bring their own but seriously not a single person will leave early even if they didn't. People should be able to have fun without alcohol and it's kind of sad if they can't.

I totally agree with this! I think you could totally come up with some delicious "Mocktails" that people would enjoy and have a dJ that gets the crowd going. Also, I feel like if people wanted to drink they could get a drink before the wedding. To me food, music, and drinks (nonalcoholic in your case) makes for a great wedding! I don't need alcohol to have a good time!
