Drop waist on a pear shape with a badonka donk

Oh Lordy ladies! I did it and now I'm regretting it! Bought a dress sight unseen because I fell in love with it 3 years ago when I tried it on in a size not remotely close to fitting me. I basically went off the designer measurements and it was going to be close. Yeah, it's not close! So here I am with with a dress too small and I have $500 budgeted for alterations. I also have to have the bust taken in A LOT. I'm 14" different from my bust to hips.
I have 4 months to literally work my butt of, pray the Rago open bottom girdle is strong enough, and my seamstress I have an appointment with in 2 weeks doesn't laugh me out the door! It's already a corset back but it goes really low.
I've been hitting the pool and jogging for an hour, cut out all the empty calories and am hoping beyond all hope this dress works! It HAS TO WORK!! It's been the dress to beat for 3 years!
Is anyone else pear shaped with a booty and has pulled off a drop waist? Do you have pics?Already told FH that the dress was going to be way padded and it's not false advertising, it's just what a girl has got to do!

Also, please don't mind the mess in the pics! My mom was in the middle of painting and moving rooms around when I went over to try on the dress!

Your seamstress will be able to make it work! I would look at your budget and see if you could put more towards alterations if needed. But it’s a gorgeous dress and you’ll look gorgeous in it!
