Drinkware

So we are not having a bar or bartenders but will be supplying wine bottles and beer kegs, as well as water and sodas. My idea is that each guest should have two glasses at their place setting, one water goblet and one for drinks. What should that other glass be? I was thinking mason jars (a little overdone, I know) but is it weird to drink beer and wine out of a mason jar? Any other ideas?
