Hello fellow brides!! We are providing our our alcohol at the wedding. We are stuck between getting bootles of beer or just kegs? What would y'all recommend that would be the easiest andaybe the cheapest!!

Hmm that’s a tough one - I would talk to your supplier because a lot of times buying in bulk/large amount you get a decent discount

If you’re hiring a professional bartender, a keg would be easiest and cheapest. If not, bottles would be easier.

We're having this dilemma too. Kegs are easier. But everyone gets so drunk off them. Do we hire a bartender? Or do we just have coolers? FH wants coolers

For my sons wedding we did beer and wine only. We had large coolers for the beer (in bottles). We bought it from a local store who let us return any unopened bottles for their singles beer sales. You might ask about that if you go that direction.

We're supplying ours too. We're getting bottles b/c we're getting all of our alcohol through Total Wine and they give discounts when you buy in bulk.

I would suggest bottles. you can get a discount when buying in bulk but also i feel there can be a lot of waste with kegs. and you could get a better variety with bottles.

Bottles. Whatever you do not use can be returned or you can keep for yourself. Whatever if not used in a keg will go to waste.

I was struggling with the same thing. A bartender friend of mine told me, from his experience, people tend to choose bottle over tap. I don't know why, but it seems legit so I'm going with it.

My mom is making 60 bottles of wine and we are going to make beer, plus buy bottles and ask friends to BYOB if there is something they really want or would like to share. We're also going to create two cocktails (one my favorite and one his) that we will serve from dispensers.
