Drink Station

Good morning guys!

My wedding theme is summer camp and I have fallen in love with the canoe drink station on pinterest. I don't have a canoe or know anyone with a canoe, so I was wondering what other brides did for their drink station!

We're buying cans of soda and want a big container of sorts to throw them in with ice. I've seen claw foot tubs, galvanized tubs, boats, but we're looking for a more affordable option that also looks decorative.

    You could use a baby pool! There’s some ideas on Pinterest for it! Or just old fashioned red coolers! Good luck!

    No! That's my dilemma- I LOVE the idea and how it looks, but I don't know anyone who owns one. Craigslist and FB Marketplace have some near me for $200-300, but I can't throw that kind of money towards a place to hold the drinks! Maybe I can find one at a yard sale or get lucky closer to my date.

    Luckily our venue has old horse troughs that we can use. Definitely check yard sales, facebook marketplace and thrift stores. I found a large galvanized tub at my local hospice thrift store for three bucks!

    Have you thought about an inflatable kids boat like this or something similar. I use these at the beach sometimes.

    I feel like at a yard sale you’d still spend close to that. Canoes are pretty expensive. Can you rent from someone? Post around in your Facebook marketplace!

    Wheelbarrows & 55 gallon drums. A saw zaw will slice the drum in half (vertically) and you have two troughs. Just fashion on some legs with wood & spray paint the entire thing. We use them for feeders on my farm

    I love this idea, if I would have stuck with my outdoor reception or reception venue that allowed own alcohol, I was going to get plastic buckets from the dollar store but spray paint them Silver or copper.
