Dressing up your Banquet

Dance floor, monogram projection, uplighting, string lights, hanging décor. Stuff like that

I second up lighting, it can be a cheaper way to completely transform a space.

A more expensive option is pipe and drape, this can be used to cover/dress up the walls and/or ceiling. It can also be a way to cut the room in half so that half can be set up for the reception and half for the ceremony.

Another way to decorate would be with backgrounds like floral or greenery walls or arches. Maybe even balloon arches.

We're going to have uplighting, as well as bistro lights strung around the room on stands, just like the picture below.

Bistro Lights

Our reception area was already beautiful, but we used string lights because I've always adored them. We also decorated the fireplace mantel in the room, if it had been raining, it would have been our ceremony altar.
