I was quite skeptical about ordering a dress online from China but figured I didn't have much to lose since it was only $250ish. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It arrived pretty fast in a small soft package. The package looked a little questionable but the dress turned out well. I ordered this dress with some minor adjustments. I asked Dressilyme to do a "closed back" (instead of the open back as advertised), so I sent in another picture of a dress with the back that I liked. The fit of the dress was good. The shoulder was a little big (1 cm) so I went and got it altered a little smaller. I could've left it how it was but it looked a little better with alterations. I might have been off on my measurements because I measured myself at home & didn't have another person help me measure. I also did alterations on the bustle after I got the dress. I didn't like the placement of the bustle on the dress so I had it changed. I spent about $90 on the alterations after I got the dress. Overall, I think the dress is a very good value for the quality. Here are some pictures of my dress.

I ordered my dress from Dressillyme.com. Like everyone else I was excited, skeptical and a bit scared that it would be horrible. I told n one I ordered it in case it was crappy!! As it turns out I was AMAZED at how beautiful and detailed it is.

I bought it for a vow renewal and it had a lot to live up to to top my original wedding dress. I started out aiming for a simple design that would be hard to screw up. I ended up combining elements of three very detailed dresses. I tried on so many wedding dresses at boutiques !!!! So I knew in general what I wanted. The price range I found myself liking dresses in was the 1500 to 2500 range. But didnt like any enough to pull the trigger.

This dress is much nicer than any singe dress I tried on and much quicker to get completely fitted and in hand. I ordered my dress on December 3 and it arrived December 28.

I think the experience was so awesome because of some of the things I did throughout the experience:

1. I did not try to duplicate a dress I had tried on. Because I wanted so many different elements from different dresses, I was able to literally create MY dream dress.

2. I chose a dress with custom measurements. But to be safe and error on the side of caution I ordered a corset back, It fits great everywhere.

3. Being a smaller person (5'3") I was also able to order a mermaid style gown that actually started to flare where I needed it to.

My experience was GREAT. As a matter of fact I am going to order another gown for my reception.

There is one thing that really threw me though... I do not know how they got that dress in that box. It poofed out unbelievably !!

My wedding was already over a year ago. But I swore when I got my dress that I would take the time to thank Dressilyme for making me the most PERFECT dress I could have ever asked for. I have to admit like most of you I was skeptical about buying my wedding dress from a retailer overseas let alone a website. But I can help you ladies put your mind at ease because my dress came out BEYOND gorgeous. The quality was amazing for the price starting from the stitching and seams to the applique detail to the underlining..EVERYTHING. The quality was really not far off from what I had been trying on in the stores. I love that they were able to change little details to make my dress exactly how I wanted it and that’s why I chose them! I actually tried the designer version of this dress (and several other similar dresses by the same designer) in U.S. stores and fell in love with it minus a few details, which dressilyme was able to help me with! My dress was made without the sash and a sweetheart neckline instead and I could not have been happier with my perfect dress. They were even able to make the hips bigger for me because I don’t fit in standard U.S. sizes. And the designer version of this dress was over $2000!! So ladies this website has excellent quality dresses! just make sure that you DO YOUR HOMEWORK…Try on similar dresses to the one you’re thinking of ordering and that you know exactly what you want because they are able to change little details as long as you do a good job of communicating it to them! And order early! overseas shipping does take a while. I think my dress took about a month, It came in a little box and like any dress needs to be pressed before the big day!! All in all, this dress is WELL worth it :] good luck ladies!!
