Dress

Ok ladies, I'm on the final countdown 59 days. So far my venue has not cancelled so I'm still moving forward. I have not hemmed my dress yet but I'm not sure I need to. I'm 47, and 5'7 tall. My dress hangs about 1 inch on the floor with my sandals on. Do I have to hem or is a little drag ok? I walked around the house in my dress and did not have a problem. What do you think?

It does look a little long to me, but if you are comfortable walking and don’t think it could cause you to trip, then I suppose you don’t have to hem it. Just know that the part that drags in front will likely get very dirty throughout the day. Most dresses do, but when it’s long it is more noticeable.

    Awh you're so beautiful!!!!!!

I would get it hemmed! Especially since it might get dirty, and there's always a chance that you could trip.

Omg thank you ❤️ it's so simple and was inexpensive. I fell in Love with it. It's also stretches for the curves.

The dress is beautiful, but I think I would get it hemmed just a little so it's not dragging when you walk.

I'm in the "get it hemmed" camp. Even if you don't trip on it, other people might step on it. That will be annoying at best and possibly much worse (if it tears or causes you to fall).
