I would wait about a year to avoid dress regret. I got my dress and love but would not put it past me to try on some more after dropping some weight lol.

I bought my dress on accident but I had planned to shop this year since we are getting married this year. I plan on losing weight for it to fit better but hey I may exchange it...who knows lol.

Id wait to purchase until a year out... new styles and designs come out all the time and you never know if something else will come along. Doesn’t hurt to do some internet browsing though :-)

Of course you will. Does not hurt to start looking at ideas on pinterest or other bridal sites for what you like.

I’d start looking at different ideas. However I you do currently have time and don’t need to worry about when to start ordering the dress. It takes about 6 months from most bridal stores to order the dress after trying it one and saying yes to the dress.

I bought my dress in September, and part of the reason I exchanged was that the 2020 line came out. Thankfully I ended up not liking the dress I was drooling over in pictures because there was no way it would get here in time. You want to leave long enough for ordering but not do it too soon. I ended up going too early and buying a dress I ended up exchanging. Should've trusted my gut that it wasn't quite right, but David's Bridal spooked me with their shipping times. Just take your time and make sure you really feel good and love your dress!

It never hurts to keep an eye out for styles. For purchasing, I would wait until closer.
