Dress won’t zip all past my bust area

View Quoted Comment Can you find a Tailor near by that can possibly help you alter it? Or can you return it and try to find something that fits? I know that’s short time. This is one of the reasons i decided I wanted everyone’s dress to be bought at a place like David’s bridals because sometimes we don’t really know if the sizing if absolutely correct. Besides altering the dress I’m not sure what else you can do. I would say tape your boobs down 😂 but I don’t think that’s realistic. Oh man please let me know !! I’m so sorry!!

Sometimes they can change the zipper to a corset backing which would allow more room for adjustment. I don’t know if they can do it in like 2 weeks but that’s also a option too. I have to hav a corset backing because I have a health issue that nesses with my weight and bloating so a corset back will allow room for loosening and tightening if needed!

Is there someone else around to help you zip? Sometimes the angle can cause the fabric to be more taunt. Are you wearing a bra that enhances? That could be it too.

I know it’s hard not to panic but sometimes that’s makes things seem worse. I’m sure that a professional will have a lot of ideas on what to do and I’m sure it’s not their first time dealing with this type of situation, that’s what they are there for anyways!!

View Quoted Comment A hook might just work depending! I know sometimes just adjusting the hook on my bra once can make a big difference in the way it fits, which is why most bras usually come with like 2 or more hooks. It can be adjusted to fit more comfortable!

Can you bend your top half forward/down and then try to zip? I've heard it can help move the busty bits out of the way and then you can adjust once you're zipped.
