Dress won’t stay up

Hannah , on June 22, 2019 at 12:48 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
I have a sweetheart neckline and it’s tulle at the bottom. When I bought my dress I envisioned it to be super tight at the top and flowy on the bottom. It’s not staying up exactly how I want it to I have larger boobs and the seamstress said my best bet is to add straps any suggestions?????

I honestly feel like a seamstress will know better the. The rest of us since she is a professional.

I agree with CD- even if we were seamstress', we'd need not only photos but to see it and see what you're picturing. My best advice is to look up the dress/similar dress and find photos of it fitting the way you want yours to fit. Your seamstress may be able to better help with some clear examples. If she insists this isn't possible- perhaps get a second opinion elsewhere.

Does your dress have a corset? I feel like that can really help hold the dress up.

It just has some boning. I may get one of those corset bra things to see if that helps :/

A corset back may help, or bring it to another seamstress for a second opinion if you’re able to!
