Dress Under $400-buying Online-non-traditional Dresses

Angela, on March 13, 2020 at 6:02 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9

I am on a major wedding dress budget and while I would still like something nice, I'd like to spend less than $400 for a dress. I have found a few websites that look to offer wedding dresses online for under $250. Has anyone ever used these sites? I would love some recommendations so I don't get scammed. I am unsure about buying a dress online as my body measurements definitely don't conform to those charts! I have even been looking at some bridesmaid dresses in white, and they are much cheaper.

I'm looking A-line semi casual beach type dress, or a little step up from that. I would like something comfortable (as much as a dress could be) that I do not need too much help getting into, and that doesn't drag around on the floor. I have a plan in a few months to visit some bridal consignment shops, but just wanted to get input about buying online and possibly wearing something not "traditionally bridal."

What are others doing who are on a serious dress budget?

Lulus is valid and have a bridal line. My bridesmaids got their dress from Lulus and the quality was great and they have free returns as well: https://www.lulus.com/categories/2042_3502/bridal-dresses.html

Also, the chain store Altar’d State is coming out with their own budget bridal line, Vow’d, in May. I’ve shopped at their stores and their stuff is nice.https://www.altardstate.com/as/vow’d-wedding-bridal-gifts/?cgid=as-wedding&srule=Category%20Default%20Rule&start=0&sz=30

They have some previews on their Instagram: https://instagram.com/vowdweddings?igshid=br5nuwoxg806
I know others have shopped at Azazie and CocoMelody for wedding dresses, but I personally don’t have experience with either company.
I personally shopped sample sales and off-the-rack sections of bridal salons and ended up finding my dress for $150.

I didn’t get my wedding dress at lulus, but I’ve gotten other outfits there and the quality is great. Their bridal line has some nice options!

I Don't have Any Recommendations For Sites I've Used Myself But I've Looked At Reception Dresses Online And Seen That There Are Some Sites That Will Make The Dress Custom To Your Measurements. Maybe Looking For That Will Help With The Sizing Issue

I found my dress on David’s bridal and after discounts, sales & a coupon code it was just under $400. They’re having an additional 40% off until tonight.
