This happened to me too- I had a very specific vision of what my wedding dress would look like… and chose the complete opposite! Just embrace it and don’t analyze it too much. The dress looks beautiful on you!

I love it and think you look amazing! I had dress doubt as well... I even asked my grandma on the phone “will I regret that I chose a high neckline when I’m 75 looking at my wedding photos!?” And she was like “what?!?”

Hahah that kind of makes me laugh that I said that. But I totally understand what you may be thinking. If you feel like a bride then I think this is the one! -One thing I kept noticing was on other dresses the sleeves looked like regular every day sleeves you might find on a tank top or dressy going out top. I wanted to wear something that did not look like I was wearing a casual tank top! -It makes sense to want to wear something that you feel comfortable with and gravitate towards but also cool to be in something a little different and be able to stand out as a wedding dress- good luck!!! It's gorgeous! My cousin just got married and she got something completely different from what she initially wanted as well. She thought she didn't want a big, princess ball gown, but that's the one she fell in love with and teared up at as well.

You look stunning and its absolutely gorgeous! It's your party so you can do what you want to! Don't 2nd guess yourself, such a waste of energy, put that energy into planning. Be confident and know you look stunning!

The dress is beautiful. If it makes you feel good (and better than any other dress did) I would remain confident in your decision, even if its different from what you originally planned.

Unless there is a feature you absolutely wanted and this dress doesn't have, or something that nags you about the dress that you can't quite get over, I wouldn't worry that it's different from your original vision, as long as it makes you feel good and fits your venue and budget.

I ordered my dress in March & started second guessing myself the moment I got home. Like you, I picked something completely different than anything I would’ve ever dreamed of wearing (big, poofy, ball gown 😳). Dress finally came in 2 wks ago & when I tried it on I fell in love with it all over again. Trust your gut 😊
