Dress too tight

Jessica, on October 6, 2020 at 1:43 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
So I got my dress altered, it needed to be taken in. It looks great, but it is too tight. It is hard to breathe in now and my mother is afraid I will pass out on my wedding day. It also takes a lot of effort to zip up the top. I’ve already paid a lot in alterations. I contacted my alterations lady but I’m afraid she is gonna want to charge me all over again to let the dress out just a little.
I love my dress but it is just too tight.
Looking for some advice. Dress too tight 1

First, your dress is beautiful and looks amazing on you. Did you do a final fitting with the seamstress and let her know it felt tight? I'm assuming your mom is being a bit dramatic with the passing out, but if you actually feel like you can't breathe then that's a real problem! Can you move your arms comfortably? I'd say if she isn't willing to let it out a bit, just keep it on the more snug side.

And I'm not promoting weight loss and you DO NOT NEED TO but most brides do lose a few lbs leading up to the wedding so you don't want it to be too loose either!

Girl I am going a smoothie diet for the three days before as you can easily drop some water weight so while that is a temporary fit maybe it will help. I agree with the pp how did it fit during the second fitting?

Definitely call her to see if it’ll cost you more money and if it does, just do a juice cleanse
