Sooo I said yes to the dress over the weekend and it felt very right and I'm in love

However I have gotten alots of comments that's it's to early and I should have waited for several different reasons one is weight change (even though I have been the same size since I was 19 I'm 26 now) and discoloration happening to the dress and finding it possibly cheaper. My wedding is Sept 18 2021 the dress doesn't come back till next year 2020 june/july
Now I'm feeling overwhelmed and find myself still looking at other dresses.
I have been looking at pics of my dress over and over again and everytime it makes me smile but I dont know I think they are getting in my head

I guess my question is how early did you find your dress before the wedding? Should I stop worrying and just be happy I found the dress? Has anyone found the one they thought was it and end up saling it for something else?

Your dress looks absolutely beautiful on you!
If you feel happy, don't let any of them bring you down. I didn't start shopping until a month ago, but that's only because I wanted my sister and mom with me and that was the only time my sister could get off from the hospital - otherwise I would have been shopping for a dress sooner!

You are beautiful and so is that dress! If you love it, then go for it! I'm still about 17 months out from my wedding and I already have my dress!

Oh wow that dress is amazing! And you look stunning in it! I wouldn’t worry about ordering a dress that early because of size, I’ve also been the same size a long time and had my dress 13 months out. And I would 100% not be worried about discoloring. Just be smart how you store it and you’ll be fine. Absolute worse case you have to make some alterations if your body changes, but that dress looks made for you! I can’t see how you’d pass that up!

You look amazing! I bought my dress as soon as I got engaged, 19 months out. I have no regrets or worries or discoloration issues. Some people stay the same size and they know their tastes and I get irritated when people make negative comments like the ones you mentioned. Plus my dress is now $300 more than it was when I bought it. I think your dress looks perfect on you. Definitely be happy!

I dealt with the same thing when I purchased my dress. I bought it October 2018 for my November 2020 wedding. Everyone thought I was crazy and felt the need to tell me. But I know my dress is the one for me. People have finally quit making their comments now that I'm a yearish out, it was just annoying to deal with for a bit. If they see you're confident in your decision, hopefully they'll be quiet. You look beautiful by the way!
