I am having some dress anxiety! I was engaged to my daughter’s father about 16 years ago. The wedding never happened. I had already purchased the most perfect dress ever! I have always said that I would either get married or buried in that dress! Only 3 people have ever seen it on & one of them is deceased. I want to wear it for my wedding to my amazing FH. He says he doesn’t care that I purchased it previously. One of my BM is making me have second thoughts about wearing it.
absolutely love the dress. It was perfect then & it’s perfect now. Thoughts?

I think it's whatever you want! If you still love the dress as much as the day you bought it and still see yourself getting married in it - IT'S PERFECT! It's your big day, wear what you want!

If it's your perfect dress, I say go for it!
It's not the fault of the dress, that was not the perfect guy.

I say wear it. That marriage may not have happened but you got a child out of the relationship, so it's a cool way to merge past, present, and future

Wear it! Save some cash. If you didnt wear the dress its still new. Just make sure hubby is on board but doubt he would mind if it's your dream dress. I thought I was doing the same thing from 22 year old dress. However, my mom paid for a new one to fit our destination wedding. So glad I did.

I would just wear it because even if you get a new dress you may not be happy with it
